I have been lucky to grow up immersed in art amidst a big, extended family of artists. At a very young age, I remember painting and scribbling on the paper tablecloths at restaurants. My parents did not see this as a bad thing, instead they always taught me to be independent and to trust my instincts. At my core, I am a strong, driven, and imaginative individual. When I am painting and solving creative problems, time moves like a ballerina across a stage. If I fail, I never give up. I love experimenting with ideas and it’s easy for me to pull inspiration from whatever I find around me. By studying Illustration, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of a variety of artistic techniques and continue my path in becoming an artist myself.
